What Could We Work On?
Sometimes you know exactly what needs fixing. Sometimes you just have a persistent feeling that your business could work better — but you cannot yet see where the real opportunity lies.
These are four examples of the kinds of problems I can help untangle. They are not rigid packages — they are here to show what is possible.
You can choose one as it stands, or we can use it as the starting point for something shaped around your business.
The Kinds Of Problems We Could Explore
Make Space In The Day
01
“We’re all busy, but too much of our time disappears into fiddly tasks, repeated work and things that are harder than they should be.”
The people doing the work often know exactly where the frustrations are. The difficulty is seeing the patterns across the whole team.
I bring those experiences together to uncover where time, energy and knowledge are being lost. We look at repeated tasks, awkward workarounds, duplicated effort, underused tools and the things your team wishes they had more time to do.
THE RESULT
You leave knowing where time is being lost, which problems are worth fixing first and which changes could release the most capacity without simply asking people to work harder.
THE VALUE
Instead of trying to improve everything at once, you can focus on the handful of changes most likely to make work easier, reduce wasted effort and free up people’s time for the work that actually needs their ideas, judgement and creativity.
THIS COULD BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF
Your team is busy, but some of that effort is disappearing into repetitive tasks, manual checking, duplicated work, awkward hand-offs or systems that never quite seem to help as much as they should.
You may already know individual frustrations exist but have no clear view of which ones matter most or what would be worth changing first.
YOU COULD LEAVE WITH
A clear picture of where time and effort are going
Patterns that no individual can see alone
Things you could stop, simplify or approach differently
Opportunities to make better use of your team’s skills
Three promising changes to explore first
A practical plan for what to try next
The aim is not to squeeze more work out of people. It is to make more space for the good stuff.
TYPICAL PROJECT PRICE
£4,000–£5,500
Smaller projects usually involve one close-knit team and a limited number of recurring tasks. Projects move towards the upper end where more people, roles and interconnected problems are involved.
Implementation is scoped separately.
Get It Out of Your Head
02
“Everyone comes to me for answers. Too much of the business still depends on things that only I know.”
This is a common point of frustration for founders and experienced team members.
The knowledge that helped you build or run the business can eventually become a bottleneck if decisions, answers and ways of working still depend too heavily on one person.
Together, we uncover the knowledge and decisions that repeatedly come back to you. We work out what genuinely needs your judgement — and what could be documented, delegated, systemised or supported by better tools.
THE RESULT
You leave with a practical route towards making important knowledge easier to find, share and use without removing the judgement that genuinely belongs with you.
THE VALUE
Your team becomes less dependent on one person’s memory and availability, while you spend less time answering the same questions or stepping into decisions that other people could confidently handle.
THIS COULD BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF
You regularly hear:
“Can I just ask you something?”
“Where do we keep that?”
“What do we normally do when this happens?”
“I need you to check this before I can continue.”
Or perhaps you are already thinking about growth, delegation, succession or simply taking a holiday without the business following you.
YOU COULD LEAVE WITH
A map of the knowledge currently living in people’s heads
The questions and decisions that repeatedly return to the same person
Areas where the team needs clearer information or greater confidence
Practical ways to capture and share what matters
Three priority solutions worth exploring first
A staged plan for making the business less dependent on one person
The answer might be a decision guide, a better shared knowledge system, a reusable workflow or an AI-supported assistant.
We start with the problem before deciding on the technology.
TYPICAL PROJECT PRICE
£3,500–£5,000
Projects move towards the upper end where knowledge is spread across more people, systems and documents, or where ownership and access are less clear.
Building the resulting system or tool is scoped separately.
Could AI Actually Do This?
03
“I have an idea for using AI in my business, but I don’t know whether it is brilliant, unrealistic or an expensive distraction.”
You do not need to commission a full build to find out whether an idea has potential.
We take one proposed AI application and examine what it would really need to do, who it would help and what a useful result would look like.
Where appropriate, I test it using representative examples so we can see how the idea behaves outside an enthusiastic conversation.
THE RESULT
You get evidence rather than enthusiasm: a clearer picture of what the idea can realistically do, where it struggles and whether it is worth taking further.
THE VALUE
Sometimes the result is the confidence to build.
Sometimes it is avoiding months of investment in the wrong thing.
Both are valuable outcomes.
THIS COULD BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF
Someone in the business has said:
“Could we use AI for this?”
“Surely this could be automated?”
“Could we build an assistant that does this?”
“Should we be doing something with AI here?”
…but nobody yet knows what success would look like, how reliable the result needs to be or whether a simpler solution would work better.
YOU COULD LEAVE WITH
A clearer, more realistic version of the idea
Evidence of what appears to work
Examples of likely outputs
Awkward cases and limitations exposed early
An honest recommendation: pursue, reshape, pause or abandon
A practical brief for the next stage if the idea is worth developing
TYPICAL PROJECT PRICE
£4,000–£6,000
Projects move towards the upper end where the idea is less defined, several approaches need comparing or more extensive testing is required.
This covers investigation and proof-of-concept testing, not production development.
Content That Still Sounds Like You
04
“I want AI to help me create content, but everything it produces sounds generic - and turning it back into me takes almost as long as writing it myself.”
You have built a business with your own ideas, values and way of communicating.
Using AI should not mean flattening that into the same polished, interchangeable voice as everyone else.
We explore what makes your communication recognisably yours: the language you naturally use, the stories you tell, what you care about, what you would never say and how you want people to feel when they hear from you.
We then turn that understanding into a practical, reusable content process.
THE RESULT
You get a repeatable way to move from “I know what I want to say” to a useful first draft without handing your voice over to a machine.
THE VALUE
AI takes more of the repetitive effort while you keep control of the ideas, judgement, personality and final approval.
The aim is to make content easier to create — not to make you sound like everyone else using the same tool.
THIS COULD BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF
You already have plenty to say but:
Starting from a blank page takes too much time
AI-generated drafts sound generic or unlike you
You keep rewriting everything
Your best ideas are scattered across documents, conversations and old content
You want a more sustainable way to create content without outsourcing your voice
YOU COULD LEAVE WITH
A clear guide to your voice, tone and recurring themes
Analysis of content you have already written or spoken
Words, phrases and habits that sound like you — and those that do not
A structured way to turn rough thoughts into useful content
Reusable AI instructions and prompts
Examples tested across your preferred content formats
A human review process that keeps you in control
A bank of ideas grounded in your real experience and expertise
The result is not a machine pretending to be you. It is a system designed to help you communicate more easily.
TYPICAL PROJECT PRICE
£2,500–£3,000
Projects move towards the upper end where there is more source material, more than one contributor or several content formats to calibrate.
Ongoing content creation is not included.
Not Sure Which One Fits?
You do not need to diagnose the problem before speaking to me.
Bring the frustrating process, the knowledge bottleneck, the pile of information you are not getting enough value from, the half-formed idea or the thing you keep wishing worked differently.
We can work out what is worth exploring — and whether data, automation, AI or simply changing the process has any useful role to play.
A Clear Price Before We Begin
The prices above show what a typical project of each kind costs.
After an initial conversation, I will recommend a defined scope and provide a fixed price before any work begins.
If your project is smaller, unusually complex or includes implementation, I will explain how that affects the price rather than quietly expanding the bill.
You will know what we are doing, what you will receive and what it will cost before the project starts.
